The California Arts Council Request for Proposals (RFPs) for Arts in Corrections are intended to bolster the values upheld by the state prison arts program through funding opportunities in training and arts programming. Please note: These RFPs have been edited for clarity of organization eligibility, requirements, and review criteria.

The opinions and viewpoints of returned citizens who have experienced incarceration are a valued part of the Arts in Corrections process. Individuals selected will serve as advisors to panelists reviewing programming proposals and will receive a $200 honorarium per day, in addition to accommodations and travel, with reimbursement for meals.
